CHAPTER 1 - INTRODUCTION -
"REVOLUTIONS IN
SPEECH & LANGUAGE"
Language as we know, is a 'culturally' (1) 'evolving' 'phenomena.' It is developed through usage, by people within their set environment - which we term a Society and by other 'culturally' relevant criteria.
Increasingly however, due to the 'Information' 'Technology' (IT) 'revolution,' the technical language or 'code' of this 'IT Revolution' increasingly finds its way into the 'speech,' 'aspects' and 'manners' of a populous. Much of this assimilation is unwitting, but powerful nonetheless. What we are seeing therefore, is the 'technical' language of the 'computer information technology age' playing a role in everyday speech and language. The time has come I believe, to openly recognise this revolution and see if somehow the best parts of the one, can be fitted with the other. Can one can generalise / formalise (2) this process, to a degree that would enable one to speak of its 'Principles' and 'Laws?'

I believe that we can and I have started this process by way 'Axioms' in relation to the 'language of code' and the 'language of human speech.' By way of example, I have set out below the FIRST AXIOM for what I have termed "CODEANGUAGE" - being the complete fusion of the 'ideas,' 'practices' and 'conventions' of both.
"CODEANGUAGE"

DEFINITIONS
First Axiom
(1) "There exists a Universal Technical Language (UTL) or alternatively a set of Individual Technical Languages (ITL) whose set comprises the equivalent of a Universal Technical Language (UTL) - we can call this language set - the 'code language set' - which is capable of providing a total set of all 'communications' (instructions and operations) to every single Artificial Intelligence System (AIS)."

(2). "There exists a Universal Spoken Language (USL) or alternatively a set of Individual Spoken Languages (ISL) whose set comprises the equivalent of a Universal Spoken Language (USL) - we can call this language set - the 'individual language set' - which is capable of providing a total set of all 'communications' and operations to every single Human Intelligent Being (HIB)."

This first axiom defines both a sufficient technical language and spoken language, through which we can carry out the creation of a "CODANGUAGE" paradigm of thought and speech - which both Humans (Bio-Organic Sentient) (BOS) entities and Artificial Intelligence Systems (AIS) (Non-Organic Sentient) (NOS) entities can use.

This concept appears in Adelaja's - Modern English Grammar, because the English Language has been used as the Individual Spoken Language (ISL) (individual language set,) from which the given axioms are used to create "CODANGUAGE."

THE UNIVERSAL TECHNICAL LANGUAGE

In view of the 'proprietary interest' involved in all of the various technical languages / coding, currently in use in information technology, computer technology and coding - none of these systems are relied upon, in the creation of either the axioms and "CODANGUAGE."
Although in accordance with the first axiom, a universal technical code language is used - all examples are taken from "The Dictionary Of The Language Of The Science Of Abstract Consciousness."

FOOTNOTES:
1. For those new to this series - the Adelaja Series of Indexes, a word enclosed in a set of single speech marks, signifies that the word enclosed, has a 'technical meaning.' In the language of The Science Of Abstract Consciousness, this approach / idiom, means that the word enclosed is also a 'term.' Thus the 'concept' - 'word,' is synonymous with the 'concept' of a 'term.'

The reader will find both 'words' and 'terms' defined in - 'The Dictionary of The Language Of The Science Of Abstract Consciousness.' An online version of this dictionary is available on the following link (DETAILS.) It should be noted, that the reader is not required to consult this dictionary when reading this work or any other work within the series. Perfect comprehension of the intended meaning can be obtained without such a consultation. Those who consult the dictionary are generally those readers concerned with the 'technical,' 'term' and 'meaning' - within The Science Of Abstract Consciousness.
2. The 'forward slash' is a 'device' used within the Language Of The Science Of Abstract Consciousness, to extend the 'meaning' and thus 'understanding' of a 'word.' The first word is referred to as the 'principal,' this is followed by the 'forward slash.' The subsequent word termed 'secondary,' 'tertiary,' etc... are words 'selected' to extend the range and choice by the writer - and often referred to by the concept 'nuance' in English Grammar. This 'range' or choice of words, namely the 'principal' followed by all the other words, is referred to as the 'field of nuance' of a 'word' or 'term.'
